There has been a pattern to most of the races I have done this year, I get ill about 2 weeks before hand and consequently I’m recovered but knackered by race weekend.  It’s really starting to P me off, I’ve never had so many niggly illnesses in my life.  This time I had a dodgy stomach that had me living on green tea, Pepto Bismal and cereal bars for 4 days, great if you want to loose weight but crap for the energy!
