A half an hour drive north of Whistler lies Pemberton Valley, a green pocket of agricultural land widely known for its seed potatoes and horse ranches. Visitors remark upon the beauty of this stretch of peaceful farmland sheltered all around by the majestic snow-capped Coastal Mountains.
Pemberton’s location leads to it enjoying its own micro-climate, where temperatures are generally a good few degrees warmer than in Whistler and the precipitation is noticeably reduced. All this lends to some great conditions for mountain biking, it’s not uncommon for the trails to be dry and dusty all season long.
The heart of mountain biking in the Pemberton region is centred around Mosquito and Ivey Lakes. These two lakes are tucked in behind a knoll on the north side of the valley between Pemberton and Mount Currie.
Dozens of named All-Mountain trails are located here, providing us with the ability to mix and match trails to suite our guest’s skill and fitness level, enabling us to put together a fun and rewarding mountain bike trail ride for all riders.
The All-Mountain riding in Pemberton is exceptional with some challenging technical single-track climbs to great look our points over the Pemberton Valley, followed by rewarding fast flowing descents.
This tour departs from our Whistler riders lodge at 9am and returns to Whistler at about 5pm.
