British Columbia has long been a pilgrimage for many mountain bikers, and its position is more than justified. With some of the best riding on the planet here in BC you’re guaranteed an amazing time wherever you go, with trails that blow Britain’s riding away. Beautiful yet still wild and harsh land, where mining and logging are still the major industries, and where the back-country is still the preserve of beasts.

This is the land that gave the world the most extreme forms of mountain biking, but don’t be fooled by the freak show freeride stuntmen, Canada has it all with some of the very best cross country going, with wildlife, stunning scenery and a mellow and friendly vibe quite unlike anywhere else.

There are literally countless mountain biking opportunities in British Columbia. We have chosen to focus on the North Shore, Squamish, and the Whistler/ Pemberton area simply because of their proximity to Whistler and the incredible riding opportunities in each destination.
