Spruce Float Plane
An epic floatplane assisted multi-day singletrack wilderness adventure into the heart of B.C.”
Have you seen ‘The Collective’? Remember the singletrack alpine meadow section? On this trip you will ride this awesome trail.
We drive you out from Pemberton on a 2hr road trip along the old gravel Hurley Pass up to our Lake Tyaughton base lodge. After loading your bike from the jetty you will be flown in a DHC-2 Beaver floatplane to Spruce Lake, at an elevation of 5200’.

You will then ride the 25 km Gun Creek trail. Dropping through alpine meadows carpeted with wildflowers, following the raging Gun Creek, this trail is quintessential B.C. riding; big mountains, tight singletrack and incredible views. Keep your eyes open for grizzlies in the area, along with wolves, mule deer, hoary marmots, mountain sheep and moose.
Following the day’s exertions on the bike, you will stay at the remote luxury lakeside Tyax lodge, where you will enjoy a meal in their restaurant, and spend an evening telling stories of adventures had in their relaxing bar before spending the night in their well appointed rooms.
After the overnight stay at the lodge, you will start the second day with a shuttle drive up to the top of the North Cinnabar range of mountains to set you off to explore the myriad of trails in the surrounding wilderness.
"one of the world’s truly great cross-country rides"
