Basic Big Mountain
Looking for a Whistler base for your mountain biking holiday, with great food, companionship, fully spec’d bike workshop, bike storage and with the flexibility to pick and choose which tours you want to upgrade to? Then the BBM package is the one for you.
On the BBM package, we collect you from the airport and bring you up to Whistler where you are accommodated in our riders’ lodge, just on the edge of Whistler village and only a five minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and, of-course, the bike park lifts. Our riders’ lodge has 10 en-suite twin or triple rooms all with fridges, Cable TV and DVD players. The lodge also has a fully equipped bike workshop and bike storage. as well as sundecks and a hot tub and sauna for relaxing in after a hard day in the saddle.
In addition the BBM package includes breakfast each day and an evening meal on five of every seven nights stayed in the lodge.
To help you acclimatise to the riding in Whistler we also run two intro riding days each week. The first is the Whistler intro day, where we take you on a tour of the excellent trails that are right on our door step, whilst introducing you to some of the more technical aspects of riding in British Columbia, such as rock rolls and woodwork. While introducing you to these features we will also teach you the skills needed to negotiate them successfully and in doing so improve your confidence and riding ability. The second intro day is based in the Bike Park, where our guides will customise the day to your riding ability and give you an insight into what these trails have in store, plus we’ll help you to further your skills so that you get the most out of your time riding the Park.
After these two intro days you will still have plenty of riding to choose from; it might be that you want to ride the bike park everyday, or you may choose to upgrade and join one of the guided rides we offer every day, such as the heli-drop on Rainbow Mountain or a two day trip up to the Chilcotin Mountains to experience the Spruce Lake float plane adventure.
The choice is yours on the BBM package, but whatever you choose the T2R team will be on hand to help with whatever you need. And at the end of your stay we will deliver you back to the airport.
