T2R Race Team
Ticket2RideBC is proud to sponsor ten riders who race in the UK in a number of different race series. We have four XC racers and six downhill racers. These include, Ben Moorhouse, Steve Felstead, Lee Imrie, Andy Penn, Matt Ellis, John Young, Rob Brookes, Pete Levy, Si Parkinson as well as Tim and Anne Langmaid.
This season Ticket2RideBC riders will be competing in the following races series: Alpine Bikes Winter Series, Hamsterley Winter Series, National Points Series, Scottish Downhill Association Series, National Championships, English Championships, Crankworx - Whistler, Canada. Fat Face Ð Urban Night Race, Northern Race Series, Mountain Mayhem, 10 Under the Ben, Avalance Enduro, International Multi stage enduro, Scottish Cycle cross, Gorrick Spring & Autumn Series, Gorrick Enduro, Enduro6, Southern XC Series, Thetford Winter Series, Pearce Cycle Series, Caersws Cup races and the Mega Avalanche.

Steve's Biog
I have raced cycles competitively since 1988, originally road and track cycling. After a lay off, due to a knee injury in 1993, I converted to mountain bikes and then got the DH bug when I raced in the UK’s first ever four man duel descender at Rivington Pike near Bolton in 1995. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, I can now look back and say I was honoured to be beaten by a legend - Steve Peat.
I have now been racing downhill for 15 years and said a long time ago that I’d give it up when I stopped enjoying it..........well I’m still here!
I discovered the wonders of Whistler and Ticket2rideBC in 2005 when I had one of the best holidays of my life, (even though I did come home with a badly sprained wrist and cracked ribs – ha!) During the stay a chance discussion with the previous owners had me setting up the Ticket2rideBC downhill team in the winter of 2005/2006 and I have promoted the team ever since.
My achievements over the years have included the following;-
- 3 times Scottish Downhill Association Series Champion
- 3 times Innerleithen Winter Wet and Wild DH Series Champion
- Bronze and Silver medals at the National Championships
- Northern Regional Champion
- 2nd and 3rd Places Overall at the DH National Points Series
- 6th at the World Masters Championships
- Numerous podium places along the way
